HONEYBEE MUSIC ACADEMY

My name is Mrs. Williams! I have been playing Violin for 14 years now! I have played in five different orchestras and was concertmaster for 3 of those! I was a Music Education Major with an emphasis in Orchestra who studied at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I am currently taking a break from school to focus more on my beautiful family because we just welcomed our first daughter, Emma in February 2018. I plan on transferring my courses to study at Montana State University, Billings when I am ready to return.

 

I have been been teaching privately since April of 2014 as "Ashley's Violin Studio". In 2016 we changed our school to "Honeybee Music" and then added "Academy" to it this year. I wanted to teach in the public school system but after a couple of years working with students one on one, I have fallen in love with private lessons! It gives me the opportunity to connect personally with my students and to take it at their pace and go as slow or as fast as they need. That is the beauty of private lessons. It is such a personalized experience for both my students and you! Aside from playing the violin, I also have basic knowledge and skill set to play the flute, piano, and trumpet. I have also enjoyed conducting musicals for two high schools in Bakersfield.
